White Elephant Sale
WHITE ELEPHANT SALE
Thank you to the several hundred shoppers of the 2024 White Elephant Sale for providing us such a successful event this year. As an all volunteer organization, the profits will go directly to the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids Camp Manitou-Lin to support the infrastructure facilities.
This year we will be helping upgrade the waterfront area to become more accessible to all campers. A new handicap accessible fishing dock and accessible kayak/canoe loading area are among the improvements planned.

We will begin actively receiving donations for the 2025 sale early in the new year. Contact wes@gryserviceclub.org with questions.
Please, we CANNOT take unusable JUNK! Yes, we do want saleable items - see the list below of what we can and cannot accept.

Firearms and Ammunition
Containers for any type of gas or oil including propane tanks
Toxic materials of any type
Open cosmetics, health care products
Used paint of any type
Photo Chemicals
Used Computers – we recommend you contact CompRenew at www.comprenew.org to recycle your old computers
Non-working TV’s – we may ask you to prove the TV being donated is in working order
CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) TV’s – we will only accept flat screen TVs that are in working order
Cell Phones or Cell Phone Chargers – please work with the various cell phone companies to recycle/donate old cell phones.
Florescent light tubes
Broken or non-functional items
Used - Vaporizers or humidifiers – only new will be accepted
Used Mattresses and box springs
Refrigerators
Appliances that don’t function – we may ask you to prove the appliance is functioning
Used hot water heaters or water softeners
Pianos or organs
Wood office credenza
Standard wood office desks
Infant/child car seats or baby cribs
File cabinets
